I had to get a new account on Gaia because i think someone knows my pass
i just wanna be safe
but is there anyway to transfer my gold to my new account WITHOUT buying a trading pass???

Buying gold now, a good idea?
Fundamental analysis recently suggests that buying now in bulk is a good idea. The current spot price is 811$, what do you think will be in the long term, as of christmas 2009? I suppose a risk free rate of 8% at least, which is pretty decent. Probably even 10% risk free rate for the upcoming year. Obviously, using 2:1 leverage is too risky in the long run, assuming the gold deviations recently. The Kelly critetion is useless in the long term in my opinion and as well the technical analisys. You can however, use the Kelly criterion for daily gold trading with usually bullish behavior and expect a risk free rate of 20%, which is too nice, to say the least.

Questions About Gold?
I wonder how gold trading works.
I live in Romania and banks list the price of gold daily.
I wonder can I just go and buy gold, will they keep it deposited for me and give me some sort of interest rate like in currency, would i be able to take the gold and keep it myself or convert it instantly at the bank to cash?
Do you think it would be a good idea to keep in gold a large sum of money?Is gold easy to liquify world wide?

From what I see most of you people dont understand my question.
I am not talking about one or two grams.
I am talking about more than 10kg of pure gold the one used for bullion.
I am not going to exchange at any jewelry shop.
My question is simple, I wonder if i could go to a bank and get its equivalent in currency or how do i turn gold into money in its real value.

I dont know anything about gold. My friends says that you can get gold in the auctioneer place. I click on gold trading then I puted on the price 100 and on the gold 10 when i click on comfirm it says acccount blance too low. And I dont want to get it from paypal or google or anyother stuff

My local gold dealer buys and sells gold bars/coins with ~$20/ounce spread. Does anyone know how this business is run, how the dealer makes his money while hedging his risks with the volatile prices going on? His is a small operation, so I don’t think he is using the futures markets.
